Now you won’t be doing this too often throughout the experience, but when I did I found it to be a good idea – mainly for the simple fact that the back and forth between cars allowed me to really feel the differences in the construction, models and handling of these vehicles. This allows you to interact with several different car brands in a single race. At first you’ll think you’re playing as one character, then with a seamless change you’ll be someone else. It’s interesting how Refund introduces the characters you will play. It simply puts you in the middle of a barren wasteland in a fast car, ready to practice what you expect later in the game. A true no-setup start lets you get started right away, rolling down a dirt road at blazing speeds. Refund starts with the speed you would expect from a racing game. From a ho-hum story, a mandatory single player gameplay before you can access multiplayer, and a card game inside, Refund is not very fun.
